I'm so glad we've found each other!
I'm Jeanne, the owner & lead planner of Bogath Weddings & Events where we specialize in wedding & event planning on Long Beach Island.
I grew up visiting my grandparent's shore house and spending summers swimming in Barnegat Bay, boating, sailing, kayaking, crabbing and fishing, and spending time with family. Some of my fondest childhood memories are sitting on the dock, eating Jersey corn, and watching the sunset with my family.
Many of my family traditions were born at The Shore. These traditions, the importance of family, the legacy of my grandparent's 65 year marriage and my love for Jersey are the reasons why I love helping couples plan weddings in this special place.
I am looking forward to finding out how I can help you to plan the wedding of your dreams. I can promise that the experience and knowledge I bring to your planning process will ensure a smooth day filled with love, family, and fun. No stress here! After all, it's the shore!
I was not the type of fluffy, girlie-girl, who spent hours day-dreaming about her wedding day. But you know what changed everything?!? I met the love of my life. When Richie & I found one another, it changed everything.
I love having a job that allows me to help people in love celebrate their love & the commitment it led them to make together. I still cry. Not a hard heavy ugly cry. But I get weepy & emotional during every wedding. The first kiss. The ceremony. The toasts. The first dances. I love the moments and the meaning behind them.

Meet the BWE Team
Corie has extensive experience in wedding & event event planning & has been a part of the BWE team since the beginning, in 2015. She has worked on weddings providing lead planning and is an essential part of the wedding day. .
When not planning weddings, Corie works as for a church in charge of youth ministries and programming. She also spends time with her two Golden Retrievers, Tucker and Gus.
Corie has a quirky sense of humor, top-notch listening skills and pays attention to all the details big and small! You are gonna love her as much as we do!
Rachel has been working in the service and event industry since she was 14 years old!
She has spent over seventeen years working in catering as a maitre'd and brings a high-level of knowledge and wedding experience to the BWE team.
When she's not planning weddings, Rachel is a Birth Doula and Lactation Consultant! And loves spending time with her family at the beach.
Rachel loves being part of creating the magic behind a couple's special day. Like many of us, she lives for the “rush” on wedding day and thrives on the pressure.

Tara has been working with BWE since 2017, right after we helped her to plan her own wedding!
Tara has a Bachelors in Hospitality Management from Florida International University. She has worked in the wedding and events industry since graduating in 2015.
She brings her gentle manner, listening skills, and ability to quickly assess and navigate wedding day quirks to every event. It's the same skill-set she uses to rally her two young daughters and her husband, at home!

Leah has been working with the BWE team since 2021. Her favorite part of wedding planning is watching a couple's dreams turn into reality on the wedding day!
Leah has a passion for taking care of the wedding party and ensuring our couples are well cared for. Leah prides herself in attention to detail and making sure no task is left undone.
When not planning weddings, Leah is a proud mom of three and can be found cheering on her kids from the side lines of their many sporting events!
